Overview
The rooftop sky lounge at a landmark Mumbai hotel required a glass envelope that could perform structurally while delivering an almost ethereal visual experience — guests suspended between sea and sky. NUMAEX delivered Luminous backlit panels for the perimeter walls and custom Oscillo pivot doors connecting the indoor lounge to the open-air terrace.
Mumbai's coastal environment demands glass that resists salt air, UV degradation, and extreme monsoon conditions — while looking pristine indefinitely.
We specified marine-grade laminated safety glass with a proprietary UV-stable interlayer and stainless-steel hardware rated for coastal exposure. The specification carries a 10-year performance warranty.
